RISKS AND CHALLENGES
There are 4 main challenges :
Research - To know about football, we need a lot of reading and watching. Tactical, technical as well as history of football. To get this right whilst being entertaining requires serious amount of effort.
Logistics - Football field, school, stadiums. These are all places that requires money or permission to shoot. Even if we do have the permission, sometimes the weather doesn't permit us to prolong the shooting.
Period-based - In a period-based film, the main challenge is to make it believable. How to make it believable? The art department, the costume(old boots, jersey, and football), as well as the environment that needs to be replaced with VFX(such as new buildings).
Actors - Since we are aiming for real action-based football film. We need to make sure the actors can really play football. And the amount of time that it will take to practice and choreograph will burn the actors out. So casting is crucial for this story.
